Cape Studies - language school - teaching English in Cape Town since 1995

Excellent. The best place to learn English. I spent eleven weeks there. Now I can understand, read, write and speak English better. Also, the vibe is very well at Capestudies. I met several people who came from differents countries (Germany, Russia, Brazil, Angola, Mozambica,Japan, France etc...). It was great experience for me. I recommend Capestudies to people who should want to learn English.

I’m in love with Cape Studies. I’m enjoying my time here and teachers are very nice with us and professional. I recommend this experience for everyone :)

I did the Intesive English Course, when I arrived there, in my first day, I was classified as intermediate in my placement test. In general I liked it a lot of the school, all employees were kindly and acessible.Good points:- School well localizated, near by tourist places, avenues, and is possible to use MyCity.- Class room layout, all students sitting around the same table, is dinamic and brings more closeness- Weekly test to evaluate learning.- Excelent teachersImprovement points- Would be good to have a better explanation about how work the classes, when I arrived I did my placement test and I already joined in the class. So, them I figured out that they were in the last unit of book, content totaly new for me, so made it difficult to understand for me not having the previous unit, in the week following the class was based in unit 1 of the book and so on.- Weekly tests with confuse or wrong questions- A lot of breaks during the classes, in my opinion one break between grammar and skills classes is enough. For other side, 40 min for lunch break is not enough for who have lunch in restaurants near by school and need to return to conversation class.So, I think I have significantly improved my listening skills and I also speak with a little more flow, even though I make mistakes.

I want to say thank you to my school for the best time I had with them, I studied there, I have been studying in Cape Studies for more than 6 months and I learned grammar, writing , reading and speaking . I came to my school when I didn't have the ability to write in English, but now as you can see my friends I'm fine . thanks to my school for that. And in the end I want to say once again a big thank you to Cape studies and all the teachers who helped me .

Cape Studies is more than a school, it’s a family! I had amazing experiences studying there! Ash and Thato are the best teachers and friends! We could cook (in English! Hahaha) with teacher Heidi. Bryan is so kind. And Helena helps you with tips.My trip was so special because of the friends I did in Cape Studies. I’m glad and I hope to go back soon!

The students and the teachers are really warm and kindly.The teaching is efficient,and the school is in the center and the water front of Capetown.

My time there was amazing! All the Cape Studies team will make you feel at home and very welcome, the teachers are very thoughtful and the teaching method is very interactive and fun, which no doubts makes it much easier to learn and socialise.During my time there I didn't have my accommodation at the school, but for sure I want to come back and next time I wouldn't think twice before staying there, the structure is very complete and comfortable.A special thanks to the teachers Helena, Heidi and Thato you are the best! ❤
