A wonderful experience! I absolutely loved it. Lissa is fantastic with horses and people, with a very gentle approach to both. She was patient and kind and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about horses. The scenery was out of this world too.

Equine Encounters and Trail Rides
For a beginner rider, this guided horse-back trail was excellent! We got to learn the basic riding skills, practice grooming the horses and preparing for the ride from a rider with experience and clearly much love for the horses. It was a stunning trail through varied terrain, across rivers and up-close alongside the beautiful Swellendam mountains.

Melissa was lovely we arrived on the day after the rain and the tracks were slippery, therefore our route was shorter than we thought however, Melissa is lovely and made the experience fun. The place is lovely.

Probably the most breathtaking views I have yet encountered. The off-the-grid farm offers a rare opportunity for peace, quiet joy and beauty... and the love for horses is palpable.An amazing escape from an all too cynical world.

Highly recommended for horse and nature lovers! Lissa is a great guide who clearly cares for all her horses as much as for her guests. The horses are in great shape and well trained. You will feel safe the entire way and have lots of fun. The panorama of the Overberg mountains is simply stunning and the trail will take you through streams, lush forests and up hills with a view. The road there is gravel but you will manage even with a small car. Will definitely return!

Equine Encounters and Trail Rides
My wife and I had a great time with Lissa and her horses. It was our first time riding horses and Lissa took us through the quick guide on how to handle the horses and gave us an introduction to each horse we were going to ride. The horses were calm and very friendly, and with Lissa's instruction, easy to handle. We rode through a trail on the Marloth Nature Reserve. This is honestly the best first time experience we could have hoped for and everything I was looking for to celebrate my wife's birthday.
