the food was amazing, the service from Aviwe was fantastic. he was very lively and helpful- a truly wonderful presence. the soft jazz playing made everything even more beautiful.

WoW what a Gem. 10 out of 10 for the owner and the staff. It was a wonderful experience, not easily found elsewhere. Friendly quick service, fresh tasty food.

great atmosphere, love the jazz music. pizza was fresh and tasty and the service from our waiter Aviwe was amazing. will be definitely coming back

25 minutes after taking our seats the one waiter asked us to just wait he will be with us shortly. He went to plug his phone in to charge and then started punching something into the computer. Finally after half an hour he sent someone else to take our drinks order.Makhocsi was the waiter that simply refused to do anything.

I went on a solo date. Recommendations from waiter, Aviwe were amazing. The food, the people and the ambiance was great! Definitely recommend this restaurant

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The atmosphere was awesome and the service was on point - quick and efficient. I would definitely return at any time. Thank you to our waiter Aviwe for being a great host.

Judging from the signage just by the door, breakfast is a recent offering from La Pergola, which may go some way in explaining the relative ease with which we got a table. I only mention this because we were told there was a wait at Salvation Cafe, which made going to La Pergola a simple decision. The 1 page breakfast menu is short and offers a good selection as long as you're OK with no substitutions (we were told that they couldn't make an omelette as they didn't have the cookware) so scrambled or poached eggs was curiously the only methods of preparation available. The breakfast pizza is great value for money, but not so much the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel (it wouldn't hurt to add another tablespoon of cream cheese, another ribbon of salmon or 2 slices of avo for that price). Service was friendly and professional enough, and as I mentioned before, willing to explain the constraints within the kitchen. The pastries look amazing and I would definitely like to return to try a pain au chocolat or slice of cake.

This is one of those really nice lunch and dinner restaurants that have tried to pivot to breakfast and have failed. It must stick to pizza.I would not go there for breakfast again. Wholly underwhelming, overpriced, cold eggs, and hard bagels. when we asked for the eggs to be warmed they disappeared with our meal for more than 15 minutes. The cherry on the top was that the menu had pancaked on it, I then specifically asked the waiter if they mean thin flat pancakes, or if its flapjacks. He assured me they were pancaked. Reader, he brought me flapjacks.
