Edgars Sandton City

They sold me a trousers on 07.06.2020 at 18:16 when we all were rushing to do the payment, so we couldn't check the items properly.Today I went to return it.The cashier, Londiwe Yaka showed me a lot of attitude from the beginning. She asked me to remove the clothes from the plastic in a very rude way.She told me that she could smell detergent from the same trousers which they sold it to me. I DON'T KNOW WHEN SHE SMELLED IT.Her behavior was very insulting,she said I used the trousers,then washed it and took it back to store !They treat the client in a very unprofessional way,with no respect!Karabo who was in the floor told me it's a second hand one and it's been used ,they can not sell it to any customer. I WAS SHOCKED!He refused to take it back .It means they are selling used stuff to the customers and they go and wash and resell them as Londiwe Yaka knows the smell of detergent without even smelling it ! Wow!I asked for the manager, they said there is no manager available and I must go back tomorrow. WOW!That is how Edgar's is losing the market these days .I have been with Edgar's since 2006 ,it has been my favorite store.Unfortunately Edgar's has changed drastically, it's going down. Now I understand why Edgar's is closing some of its stores and retrenching the staff and why CNA separated from Edgar's.Soon we will see all their branches are closed and no more Edgar's in South Africa.So sad..

The service at Edgars in Sandton City is seriously pathetic. You are always waiting in long queues with only 1 really slow cashier assisting people. Do you’ll seriously not have more employees?In addition the cashiers can never assist with any queries efficiently. No wonder Edgars is going out of business.

Good variety of clothing as well as a small toy kingdom in the store.

The service at Sandton store is horrific. It's now Christmas season and knowing that people will be out shopping , there is one person at the tills to process your purchases! Can someone please help with their customer service delivery

The worst online experience I have ever had so on the 26th of April I Bought R1484.50 worth of makeup from Edgards online store, when I came back to work on Tuesday the 2nd I phone Edgars to find out where my stock is they told me they have network issues and we had to recreate my order, I was frustrated but said yes then on Wednesday I see my order was recreated and completed on the Edgars website with all my items so I phoned again on Thursday and ask to send me the Waybill no no to mention all the emails I have already send regarding this matter then they said no they would look into it so this morning I emailed and phoned again just to get told no my first order is only getting picked now and that they are out of stock on the one item and that they do not now where the second order is and if it comes I must reject it and the customer service persons want to say but she did phone me today so well-done since the 26th I had to phone and follow up and you phoned me once now I must give you credit,,,,,, AND TO TOP IT ALL OF ON BOTH MY ORDER THEY HAD STOCK OF EVERYTHING BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY PICKING THE STOCK NOW SOME OF MY ITEMS ARE OUT OF STOCK I will never never buy from them again its not worth waiting a month if I am luck and getting frustrated I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND I HOPE I GET ME REFUND

I visited Edgar's Sandton City today and was assisted by Jeremiah at the perfume section.I was totally amazed at the way he assisted me. His knowledge on perfume is remarkable, plus he was enthusiastic and friendly. I don't normally receive such service when visiting stores for perfume.Thank you Jeremiah☺️. I will definitely be back.

What rude staff. I understand the limit of 5 items per changing room, but not allowing a mother to join her young daughter is ridiculous . Never going back ever.

Clothes, shoes, make up, department store AND toys and all the LEGO you can’t find elsewhere. Awesome helpful staff. Nice. Roomdesign.co.za loves the boardmans section too

It's December but I see they are preparing for January,packing school uniform at the shelves.
