Arrived for 730 as website said it then opened. It only opened at 8am. I was no 20 for smart id and no 1 for passports. However I waited for 4 hours before anything happened..

I did surname change for my son, after full year it's still not done; when I follow up with them the surname is not yet amended and there is nothing they can do about it; I asked them what if I waited for another year...? They had no answer for me. I decided to call home affairs National office just for follow up...it did not even take 5 minutes then my query was sorted which kuruman home affairs failed to do...service sucks wth incompetent staff. The kuruman HA does not deserve 1 star. What a mess? Unorderly. People pushing in ques. Not provision for the elderly and babies. Stood in the que since 11.30 to 15.00 and could still not be assisted. I travelled from Lime Acres to Kuruman on 30 april 2018. I will not recommend anyone to go to this offices ever.
