The rooms are well equipped and clean, the hosts are very nice, the breakfast is good and the evening meals were tasty.

Everything was spot on from start to end. It was very last minute as my dad was making his way to Port Edward from PE and it was getting dark so had to find a nice safe place to sleep over for the night before they continue the last stretch. Bedrock Guest House was very accommodating and welcomed them with open arms. They ensured they had something to eat before a peaceful nights rest. Next morning had a lovely breakfast that Bedrock Guest House provided as well and they were ready to kick of the rest of the trip. Thank you Bedrock Guest House for taking care of everyone, it has been amazing.

You have a truly magical spot here, with a very real home-away-from-home ambiance. Your passion & care for your establishment, as well as your attention to detail, were so appreciated. I will definitely recommend Bedrock to anyone ( Tanya ). The host is very helpful and welcoming, and they have a generator that runs for the duration of loadshedding. The pictures I posted speaks for itself try them you won't be disappointed...

This is your ultimate home away from home. Everything you need is right there. Great hospitality, lovely rooms, awesome entertainment area. Fantastic Breakfast spread, Wednesday braai night is one of the best. What are you waiting for, what you see in the photographs is exactly how the place looks. A big shout out to the owners, well done guys xxx

Definitely one of the best I've been in. I will Definitely use it when I'm in Mthatha. The breakfast was superb. Loved it. The owners are friendly too. Can we get at least the wifi password attached to our keys though. Please.

Only B&B to stay at in Umthatha... seriously. Great friendly welcome experience by owner. Beautiful area and posh rooms, with all the required amenities. A swimming pool to cool off after a 40 degree day too! With Generator power to cover the loadshedding too.
