Jane from Sophie Jean Beauty is an amazing makeup artist. She listened to my skin care concerns, how I wanted my makeup to look, and was able to advise me on what the best look would be for my wedding day. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup Jane was attentive to my requirements. I wanted to feel natural but put together. Jane was fun to chat to and made me feel comfortable and good about myself. I would highly recommend Sophie Jean Beauty.

Jane was an absolute star on my wedding day. She was so organised, professional and kind. It felt like having a familiar friend with us in the room, and the whole experience was just so much fun. Her makeup and hair was absolutely stunning. She was extremely patient throughout - putting up with numerous last minute changes throughout the planning process and day. I could not recommend her enough! Baie baie dankie!

Thank you Jane for making me look pretty on my wedding day! I had hesitation from the beginning because the make-up style I wanted - Asian simple and natural style is different from the popular trend in South Africa, but Jane did it, she gave me what I want!Jane is very patient, she made a comprehensive note from the trial with a hand drawn of my face with makeup on, she is so talented. We even made some last minute changes on the wedding day, so grateful that I had her to work on my hair and makeup.My wedding day was an extremely windy day, the wedding photographer who is also our friend, said he never shot a wedding in his career was that windy. Thankfully my hair and makeup was holding fine until the end of that night with no touch up. I highly recommend Jane!

Jane was amazing! She made me look so beautiful on my wedding day - she listened to exactly what I wanted and made me look even better than I could have imagined. I felt like myself and not overdone or anything like that. My hair was also so beautifully done. She did an amazing job with me and my entire bridal party - we were all talking about how amazing she was for days to come (we still do). I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed - that's for sure!

Jane is an absolute artist and true professional. Her studio has great light and a it's a serene environment, with sufficient mirrors to view your look from various angles. Jane asked the right questions and keeps you informed throughout the process on what to expect at each step. Her calm demeanor is perfect and sets the tone for a wonderfully relaxed experience. Thank you Jane for my gorgeous makeup and hair styling, you did an amazing job and I highly recommend your services to anyone interested. I loved that I could do both hair and makeup with one provider. My hair looked and felt amazing for 2days after it had been styled so that was an absolute treat.
