What a wonderful little gem. Owned by husband and wife team. Well stocked and variety of patterns and needles. Both husband and wife have excellent knowledge and offers advice on alternatives. Examples are available and service is excellent and warm. Well worth the visit. I keep going back there.

A hidden gem stocked with beautiful yarns, embroidery floss, hooks and needles. I found exactly what I was looking for. The owners have decades of experience, are willing to offer very useful advice and are an all round delight!

While Orion doesn't do convenient hours for people who work, they have some really lovely wool. The couple that run it are very friendly and happy to help you figure out your project, or find what you need if they don't have it.

Awesome yarn haven!Excellent customer service, over and above!Plenty of yarn variety, and with projects and WiPs on display makes it easy to decide and try out new yarn.And hooks and needles and even cross stitch items. And books for patterns.And yes, you can pay by visa!!

I really really would like to support a local shop, but between the short open hours and not being open on the weekends. The website that gives the wrong information on opening hours, no one answers the phone, no online shop and its out of the way location. I don't think I can. I really do hope to be able to actually go inside one day, but at least the views on the drive there were nice.
