Our family absolutely loved our stay at Witmos Oxwagon Camp! It was a truly a unique experience, set in a spectacular outdoor location! The oxwagons are very comfortable to sleep in, and entire site (wagons, lodge & outdoor fire areas...) is studded with little luxuries and thoughtful details. The owners were so kind and communicative, made us feel very welcomed there. We only wish that we had more time to spend there during our travels in South Africa!

Wide open spaces in nature with stunning mountain views all around. Warm and comfy sleeping in the oxwagens with well equiped kitchen and bathrooms in the same vacinity. Also, lovely walking and biking trails.

This is an UNFORGETTABLE place! It truly is a piece of heaven on earth. Absolute tranquillity in the heart of the mountains. The sounds of the bird life is music to your ears! This is truly a place to leave your daily worries at home and to come and switch off and have a unique experience sleeping in an oxwagon. It is a comfortable camp area with lovely ablutions, a comfortable, warm bed and a social setting that takes you back to the Voortrekker days! Your hosts are absolutely wonderful, warm welcoming people who will make you feel right at home! You have to also try their true farm lamb meat! Nothing beats it…the most flavourful lamb you will ever eat! Don’t waste anymore time wondering! Do yourself a favour and book for an experience you won’t forget… you will want to go back!

Definitely coming back here soon. The oxwagon camp vibe was a new experience and I didn't expect it to be so warm and comfortable under the heavy rainfall.

I can honestly say, this was the best week end we've had in a long time. What a stunning place to spend some time away from our busy lives. Loved the comfortable bed in the oxwagon. The communal space is awesome. Plenty of wood to keep those fires going. Loved having tea on the patio. The kids enjoyed swimming in the reservoir. We can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended.

Great weekend staying in an oxwagon and making a bonfire under the Karoo stars! Hosts were very friendly and welcomed us with a fresh farm bread.

Amazing experience sleeping in an ox wagon. Hosts are very friendly and receptive to requests. Great food. Ablution clean, plenty of hot water. Peaceful, beautiful skies at night.

It was a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The main house is well equipped and the scenery and peacefullness of the camp is phenomenal. Definitely recommend the stay to all.

Highly recommend spending a night or two at this beautiful spot. Not only is the scenery stunning, but it provided a great backdrop to an exciting, and adventurous weekend. They have a lovely communal lounge, dinning room and kitchen, we slept in Luxurious wagons and we had a lekke bonfire and braai under the stars. We had such a fantastic experience at Witmos Oxwagoncamp with our friends.
