Ordered battered boxes on Friday night, houlumi says you get 8 pcs with chips I got 6 . Prawns says you get 10 we got 8 . The batter was so thick and oily, my son ate only 4 prawns . Called manager to complain he took my number and said they would call me the following day . Still waiting for the call .

Dry over cooked fish with hard chips. Bitter burnt batter. Spoke to owner and owner says its the standard.

Second visit to HOOKD and I haven't been disappointed. Happened to come on a Monday and can highly recommend their hake and chips Monday special, only R60 and you get a really generous and tasty piece of fish and good portion of chips. I'll be back!!

Found the owner to be open and honest, I was about to order the hake and chips x2 @ R95 each. However he mentioned the special he runs every week @ R60 per portion. He even showed us another customer's with their permission. With reference to the fish and chip. Absolutely awesome fresh, tasty, well worth another visit next week for same.
