Another great find during lockdown, I'm a recent convert to the Schwartzbrotgold amazingness! Excellent value for money and delicious baked goods have done serious damage to my waistline - I've been happier! Fresh, flakey croissants, moist hot cross buns glazed to perfection and a crispy ciabatta today lifted the spirits!

Mouthwatering freshly baked German delights - all sorts of bread, rolls, and sweet pastries.I placed a really big order for a film shoot and they helped me with a short lead time.My car smelled like heaven when I collected the order and made me drool on the way to work.

Definitely recommend the Laugenstangen and Brezeln, but the crispy rolls are not worth it.Sent several Emails regarding an order, no response. Can only be contacted via phone.The shop itself is sad. No vibe and boring.

Ordered online through Nomaste.co.za - the pretzels and chocolate croissant was delicious - ate them the next day and they were still fresh. I've seen that you can order from the bakery's online store so will definitely be checking it out. Would like to try their breads, apple strudel and cinnamon rolls.

Great breads and rolls. They open early and have backed goods ready then. If you get there late after, you might not get rolls.They now also have some german goods for sale now but this is only from 8:30 till 16:30.
