Such good work being done to rehabilitate tortoises - feeding them indigenous plants like tradescantia, spekboom so they can be released into the wild

Fantastic initiative. Horrible management experience. Volunteers should be treated better.

I called them for advice about a baby bird that had fallen out of its nest. The advice they gave me was spot on!

Without going in to the many different incidents, let's just say that sometimes things, entities and people aren't what they purport to be. Thank goodness for smaller self funded rescue organisations who take it on the chin and perform rescue operations at their own cost, at any time, or any day.

Took a little Laughing Dove to them, and felt happy that this little soul would get a chance to live as nature intended.

The organization's owner exhibits severe verbal abuse towards the staff, who have no avenue to lodge complaints as the owner is the sole member of the board. Additionally, it is observed that the owner prioritizes personal material possessions, such as a fancy ride-on lawn mower, over the needs of the organization and the wildlife it serves. This misplaced focus has resulted in a lack of appropriate funds for essential items such as food and medicine for the wildlife. To ensure transparency and accountability in the use of donated funds, generous donors supporting FreeMe are urged to request access to records detailing how their donations are utilized.
