Forget about KFC, or any other chicken place forever. This is good quality, tasty, super crispy and affordable chicken and handcut chips a few steps from my door. And guess what? On Fridays they give you 25% off! How does 4 generous chicken strips with chips @R33 sound to you? Sounds damn good to me. See you next Friday Free Bird!

I’ve ordered Free Bird multiple times on Uber Eats and each time have had a problem. I will admit, the food is good but each order we’ve received, something is missing or wrong. Something needs to be done about quality control before things get sent out.

First time customer to Free bird on Kloof, ordered a Cheese Chicken Burger and a Mango Passion sparkling soda. Firstly there was no Cheese on my burger and secondly they gave me the wrong flavored sparkling soda Tangerine". What kind of operation are they running when they cannot get a simple order right.. Its like ordering a bacon and egg sandwich without the bacon. The burger was tasteless and way to much pickle

Possibly the best burgers I have ever had. Gourmet KFC would be a great description I think. Have had every week for the last 4 or 5 weeks. Definitely recommend!

I love this chicken and the batter om nom nom. Something extra I appreciate about this place is considerate packaging and thats they dont ONLY sell coca-cola company soft drinks. Good vibes

Eco friendly and packaged well. Had the chipotle burger…yum! Hugely generous portion of chicken (patty). Never had such scrumptious batter on a chicken schnitzel burger. Chips also tasted really healthy. Keen to try the waffle fries next time!

Quite possibly the best chicken burgers in Cape Town. The BBQ burger is incredible, chicken always deep fried perfectly and the slaw in it is delicious. Would recommend the siracha dipping sauce with the chips. Great take away restaurant. And cute packaging.

Poor service, I waited over an hour for my order... After calling 5 times they told me they gave the delivery guy a wrong order, so they to call him back to fix it.
