Pharaoh Cement

Although I did not need pallets, and let them know, and although they used their own transporter for delivery, they forced me to pay for pallets because, they said, they could not deliver cement without pallets. They undertook to reimburse me the price of the pallets on their return (by their own transporter). As soon as I received the cement and their transporter took their pallets back I requested my reimbursement and, surprise, they refused and instead (and reluctantly) gave me a credit note. I insisted on my reimbursement and they alleged all sorts of requirements to pay me back: first, they needed confirmation of my bank details, although they had received my payment together with a proof of payment that contained them. I sent them the bank details. Then they said that was insufficient: they needed the bank details contained in a bank letter. I sent them that, and finally received my reimbursement almost two months later. This has been the worst, most frustrating experience of abuse by a supplier.
