Greek salad is very basic and in 2021 buying 1 like in this photo. Really!! Look at yhe size of the tomato. Its a no no Fishaways.

takes about 15mins to get the meal ready, but the fish is really hot and fresh. the only thing is that the rice is not fully cooked, maybe becoz i'm asian so that's different from what i use to have. portion is big enough for me.

I absolutely loved their hake meal which included Hake fish (baked), onion rings and rice. The fish was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious.

Worst fishaways experience ever.Ordered the Spicy prawns snd rice, they soaked mushy rice in sweet chilli and 4 prawns.Tried the new squiggly pops, the picture speaks words of how terrible they were.Definitely stay away.

I won't be ordering from them again. Ordered 3 meals for colleagues and had to pay separately. The manager could not even split the 3 meals with their prices, so I paid one amount as it was a way too difficult task apparently. Staff is unfriendly and the large Hake and Chips only came with a handful of chips - Very disappointing!!

Phakamile refused me a second surviette really just after complimenting the good value for money and food quality they spoil it by refusing to give an extra surviette even after l offered to pay for the surviette.Fishaways Sandton city foodcourt

Got sold leftovers at Newmarket as also upon inspection found that the coleslaw is expired, chips are barely fried and rice that was served looked like one from a rejected order(R 219). This is a health risk as one does not intend to spend as much for something rats can find in a bin.

Pathetic staff. This is the 2nd and last visit this year to Sandton City Fish Aways. The last time when I got home to eat it, I discovered that my takeaway order did not have the chips in it. I called from home and they said sorry, come collect. RIGHT.. like I have all the time and resources to drive back all the way to Sandton City. Today, again we ordered 4 meals. They only packed 3 meals and the bag was neatly stapled and we only discovered it later. Furthermore we were supposed to get 4 salads and they only packed ONE. Your verbal 'Sorry ' does not make anything better. I'm sensing this is to cover up pilferage. Im guessing Most take away customers will just accept that a portion of food is missing and let it be. Dodgy, dodgy staff at Fish Aways Sandton City.
