UPDATE: Emailed the manager over 2 months ago, as per their reply to my review. No response. Appalling service. In this day and age, they place no value on customer service.Took my Seiko watch in to have a new battery replaced. The sales lady was very helpful and even suggested it may be possible to clean the inside of the glass (which the watch needed). Returned an hour or so later, the small dial second counter hand was out of place (sticking up above the watch face). When I pointed out that this is not how I left the watch, the watchsmith eventually came out and said that the mechanism is broken, and that he could take the watch apart again to try and put the hand back into place but that there is a risk it may break. When I said that I would rather he not open the watch again, he suggested their service centre but that could take up to 8 weeks. He then recommended another place in Milnerton(On Time) , which I have just returned from R400 the wiser (the hand was simply reseated, and the watchsmith there said that all mechanisms are working perfectly). Time watch offered no discount or apology for their work... I hope this review helps other people make an informed decision about where to take their watches.

Bad service, at extremely expensive prices, paid for service of a watch that did not run fourteen days to be told when it was returned they only replaced the battery not serviced it because it's not a product of theirs. Fact is even after the R300 battery, it's not working. Last time ever they saw mee.

I have used the services of Time Watch Specialists quite a number of times and also bought watches there and every single time I have received excellent service. They are also able to pressure test my water resistant watches so I won't go anywhere else for battery replacements. Also have a good selection of watches.

Ordered a TW Steel strap from JHB, already waiting more than 10 working days. Just to long if you want to have the edge over competitor. Will be here on day 15 (working day)?????? Needs to be booked into stock at Head Office first!!!

Went in today to have my Omega seamaster watch battery replaced. The gentleman behind the counter ,Lee, called their watch specialist, Patrick, from the back and he confidently sorted it out within 5 min, where other watch companies wanted me to wait 3 weeks. Thank you for the great service from your two helpful staff members.

Friendly, competent staff. My Tissot watch battery was replaced and a water pressure test was done on it in under an hour at a very reasonable price. This is a great find after a Tissot shop estimated that I would have had to wait 8 weeks for a battery replacement.Update: After two-and-a-half years, my Tissot needed another battery, as could be expected. The replacement was done and my watch again keeps time perfectly and is still waterproof. And they still provide excellent service with a smile.

Staff are absolutely useless. Also they lie constantly and cause you to loose your hair. I have been buying from them for years, thousands of rands in watches From Herbelin to Armani. And every watch I own gets repaired by them also for years - But today i will never return. Lied to by salesman yesterday - Said i did not stipulate what i wanted? Seriously?? And today by saleslady - wont get hold of owner to resolve. All bad reviews i have read now thorough Google make perfect sense. Wolf Bros although 700% more expensive - rather go there than waste your time. You've lost a big client Mr Gary. All the best

Great service and very help full staff. Had two watches that required batteries. Thank you very much Lona and Lynn for your help. This has not been my first visit to to the shop. Previous watches bought and serviced over the years (always with exemplary service) made this an easy decision to visit the shop when needed. I hope to return after saving up for the watch I saw that might be my next buy, but certainly going solar next time.

Wanted to buy a pocket watch there, but the sales person was barely interested in helping me. Could have been that I was wearing sweat pants, but never judge a book by its cover, that's what I tell my staff. Especially with the economy the way it is, every potential client should be treated like royalty.
