My Ice dispenser was not working and my freezer was freezing up so badly that it was a struggle to even open and close the door. Mack came out at a convenient time, removed the outside casing explaining each step to me. Within 15 minutes he had identified the issue, explaining parts were hard to get but that did not stop him from carrying out a small modification as a work around to resolve the issue and in turn extended the life of my dual door Fridge & Freezer with water & Ice dispenser at a minimal cost. I highly recommend this business and will not hesitate to call these guys again.

Paid cash of $100 before any work done. My 110lt 12volt Evacool fridge would not switch off so it drains my house batteries. After a week with these guys I rang and I was told it’s running perfectly, so I went and picked the fridge up. I was shown a graph of the fridge cycle showing running between 0 to -5. When asked about the cycle when fridge switches off they could not tell me and was told it’s my batteries issue.Took fridge to a friend he found second thermostat sensor behind the freezer that was faulty.

I phoned Selective Fridges this morning because my freezer wasn't working properly. Mack was very upfront about charges.About 2 hours later he arrived. The problem turned out to be not as serious as I thought it might be. I highly recommend Mack to anyone that is looking for an honest, very knowledgeable, efficient service.

I contacted this business regarding a fridge door issue. The owner advised “I would have to see the fridge before I could advise on the price”.Unlike other repair companies I contacted who were booked up for days in advance, this man (owner) was very quick to advise “he could be there in approximately 45 minutes”.Someone else was driving his vehicle and sat in his car with the car running while the repair man came into my home, took 2 minutes to look at my fridge door and said “they don’t make these fridges anymore. I can take the fridge door off and take it away to my workshop and do a temporary repair that will be a bit of a modification to the door and cost around $600 or I can see if the Supplier still makes the door but that will be a lot more expensive to replace.” He rang me later and said “no, the door parts are not made anymore”. He charged me $176 to tell me that and was there for no more than 5 minutes.I was curious so I contacted the Supplier of my fridge directly (Electrolux) who advised me that the door Kits and parts are definitely in stock and still made. They commented that my fridge was not old enough for parts to cease being made.I feel ripped off by this Company who not only charged a ridiculous amount considering he was there for only 5 minutes but also because he gave me useless false information.

Amazing service and would highly recommend the team at Selective Fridges. Was having refrigeration problems and Mack was able to come out on the day and help me out. He was professional, efficient and worked after hours to help us out. They explained the whole process up front, costs associated and explained in great detail the problem with the fridge (heater fuse) and what they need to do in order to fix the issue at hand.Cannot thank and recommend them enough

Mac came at the end of his day to help us same day as our call to selective refrigeration. Spotted the issue within a minute (main board) and fixed in about half an hour.Communicated very well, let me know what he was doing and why. All round great experience and recommend.

Wow, I emailed to book a service, within 30 minutes I got a phone call to confirm a time . He came the same day, 3hrs after the email, my freezer was fixed. Absolutely amazing. Great work ethic.
