Intaba Lodge and A la Carte Restaurant

The hosts are very kind and welcoming. But the service I got was very poor. The room I was allocated to had a malfunctioning electric blanket. No heater and no bedside mats yet it's ceramic tiles on the ground. When I got to breakfast the following morning, the only cereal they had was Weet Bix of which I don't take due to health reasons. Hot breakfast was scrunch eggs, tomato and overcooked chicken schnitzel. As I was about to leave for work, I asked them to please put a heater and change the electric blanket of which they did. On my return in the evening, I noticed that the bath towel I used in the morning was not changed instead it was hanged on the shower to dry. The bath mat that got soaked by the drops of water from the shower was folded and put on its place for another use. The bath mat was wet. On the following morning, the cereals were still not there. I was served the same menu as yesterday. This was very bad experience for me as a result I will never come back to this guest house.

I had the worst experience of my life in this lodge. The electricity kept tripping everyday at night and it was so cold. No customer service at all from the manager instead he once insulted us. I will never encourage anyone to book here.

Peaceful overnight sleepover, nice cold beer and beverages. Bedrooms need a bit of upgrading, friendly reception staff when arriving.

Stopped here for breakfast. Efficient, tasty and a good stop with children. Happy all round.

Most beautiful scenery at the bottom of the Barkley pass

I'm very disappointed with the service in this place I'd give it a ZERO. The food was terrible. Rooms were dirty, towels had a yellowish look, the shower tiles can literally fall on you. Rooms had no tea nor milk. I understand covid badly affected the tourism industry. But if you need to be booked and busy, please be neat, offer good food. Not microwaved pizza. I really hope you do something about this and try a little bit harder to provide great service.
