Sandboarding Cape Town | Sandboarding Cape Town offer tours and trips in the Atlantis Dunes of Western Cape, South Africa, also known as the Witsands Aquifer Nature Reserve. On all our tours we transport you straight into the dunes in our custom made 4x4 vehicles and back out again. We offer Classic Sandboarding and Ultimate 4x4 Sandboarding, where we transport you to the top of the dunes like a ski lift would when snowboarding. We always provide shade, all you need to bring is your own drinks. You can also book 1 hour guided ATV quad bike rides and our latest offering a dune thrashing ride in our imported racing buggy called The Dune Thrasher, the most adrenalin pumping activity on offer in the world. No Snowboarding experience required We Teach most people in 15 minutes Age 5yrs and up is good for sandboarding, there is no strict rule if they can walk they should be fine Contact me for more information on Birthday Parties, Bachelor Parties, Corporate events, Film Productions and Tours.

Have done it before and will do it again. The guide is very friendly. Two hour tour with shade set up. Very pleasant experience. The guide even built us a ramp so lots of fun. The dunes are stunning.

My family had an excellent time. The instructor was fun and patient and took lots of photos/videos for us! We met the owner and he was a very cool guy. We will absolutely go there again and recommend anyone to go!

We had a good time. The activity was in the expensive side, but the service was good. Goggles to protect against the blowing sand, and very helpful in making our small children enjoy too.

Had a great time sand-boarding! They made it fun, and worked hard so we could just have fun. 2hrs was a perfect amount also. Would highly recommend it!!!

What an amazing experience! We did this as a family and had lots of fun. We all managed to sandboard properly without previous experience. You do fall very hard and need to be fairly fit to keep on getting up. The location and Atlantis Dunes are amazing. A beautiful, massive sandy landscape. The instructors where extremely friendly and helpful. A must do for something different when you are in Cape Town!

A great adreneline fueled morning in the Atlantis Sand Dunes. We did Sandboarding whilst being driven up and down the slopes of the dunes in an awesome and rare Land Rover Defender. What made it the most special was how invested our driver and instructors, Dylan and Peter, was in not only the sport but also the dunes themselves. Their insider knowledge and enthusiasm really made it special. Totally recommend and would do again if I was in Cape Town.

Went sandboarding with Dylan and Peter and did Quadbikes with Colt (Head Out Adventures). Had a great time! Peter showed us useful sandboarding techniques, waxed our boards, and made sure my sister and I were comfortable and had a fun time! Had a smile on his face the whole time and he also took awesome pictures and videos of us! We had a lot of fun racing down the dunes with him =) Riding up the dunes in the truck was also fun and convenient! Colt was also awesome with the Quadbikes. We got stuck with a slower group and he took us out on our own for a bit to go a bit faster on the dunes while the others took pics. Got our moneys worth! Most fun I’ve ever had, thanks guys!

Wow!! That’s all I can say. This was an absolutely AMAZING experience. You HAVE to try Samdboarding in Capetown. Dylan and his team are phenomenal and made sure me and my crew had a great time. We went in the winter (May) and it was a bit of wind but that was perfect for me. There was a tent for shade if we needed it and a car to take us up every time we boarded down. I def recommend! So beautiful & such an adrenaline rush. I wanna go back!
