I was at Fishaways in N1 city on the 8th of February 2023 the service was terrible and to crown it all they gave me the wrong order. The chips was hard. They not seeing me anymore. The owner needs to get his or her staff in order. You cannot be chatting to each other if there is customers.

I like it, but the family platter for 4 should have a large chips, and not medium served with it please. One potato is not enough for a family of 4. It costed us to order a large chips over and above to make sure everyone got.

Absolutely terrible Fish Aways. Waited about 50min for my food. They only started making my food when I asked after about 25min.When asked how long I would still have to wait, they didn't bother answering.Terrible service

I had placed an order online for delivery to my place of work, but for some reason it ended up being a collection. I had phoned to ask if there would be a way to change it or possibly cancel my order. I had spoken to a lovely lady named Anthea who went the extra mile to get one of her drivers to deliver my order. 10/10 recommend when it comes to service and 10/10 for food as well. Thank you Anthea and to her driver Fabian :)

Terrible experience after placing my 1st order via their app from their N1 City Branch...food was horrible. Squiggly pops were over cooked and came out like little rocks. Fish was rubbery. Prawns were actually the size shrimps..spent so much money on the worst meal ever. The only things edible was the chips and savoury rice. Spoke to management and they refused a refund. Really not worth the effort. For the money spent I could have gotten a decent platter from John Dory's for 2. Fishaways should have a better policy of checking food leaving their kitchen.

We saw the TV advert of the current special for Fish, Calamari with rice for R 49.90 so we thought it a good idea to try it. So with N1 City Mall being the closes to us we paid them a visit. We were impressed they are very Covid-19 compliant, sanitizer-spray bottles, lots of clear displays and even social distancing sticker on the floor. The staff present on duty was very polite, helpful and pleasant. Our order was out within 10 minutes. We were very impressed with our takeout meal and we found the fish and the calamari to be fresh and very taste-ii ....we will be back to try more of what is on offer here...

Took picture at 9.15am and the place is still closed. Timetable on Google says open time is 9.00am. If the time has changed please change on public platforms so patrons can make an informed decision. The delay will impact my other appointments in the day. Leaving now at 9.20am and the place is still closed.

I ordered two meals at the same time two days ago as an eat-in. Both was supposed to have had calamari but the good life meal was terrible. I posted a pic of the difference. When I complained, all i got was ...yes

Bought a good life meal for two tonight and it was literally the smallest fish I have ever bought. The chips and rice looked bad and the meal hardly had any calamari. They don’t even give you tartare sauce. Such a disappointing meal definitely not a meal for two!
