No words can describe the beauty of this place

Die Kayaks kann man direkt unter der Brücke über die N2 mieten. Zweierkayaks kosten derzeit (2018) R150 für den ganzen Tag sowie R50 Eintritt in den Park pro Person.Die Fahrt war sehr schön. Wir waren mutterseelenallein auf dem Fluss. Allerdings ist der Keurbooms sehr breit, so dass das Dschungelfeeling nur bedingt aufkommt. Der hintere Bereich, der zur Overnight hut führt, ist leider aus Naturschutzgründen gesperrt. Dort soll es uriger sein.Wir hatten gehofft, uns auf dem Rückweg treiben lassen zu können, aber es kam starker Gegenwind auf und die Flut drückte offenbar stark in den Fluss, so dass wir ohne Paddeln rückwärts getrieben wären.

Highly recommend! It's a 7km kayak up the river. It took us 1.5hrs in nice conditions and 2hrs back into a light wind. Beautiful beaches and picnic sites along the way to stop to rest or have a quick swim. The kayaks are big which allows for plenty of space for all your gear. The cabin is in great condition and has everything you need. There is a wheelbarrow and an axe to chop your own wood near the cabin but we took our own.

What an amazing place to experience, not for the faint-hearted! It's difficult to get there but unbelievable to experience!

Amazing place!!Did not have much sun so had to cope without warm water for the entire stay. Installing gas geysers would be the only thing to perfect the place!!
