MINT Apartments Greenside

Had our first stay at Mint Apartments in Greenside. The apartment itself is beautiful with lovely decor.However the website mentions the kitchen is fully furnished with cutlery and crockery. Ours was not. They forgot to put a bath mat in the second bathroom and a hand towel. The bedsheets in the second bedroom were ripped. Small details like this matters.The most appalling factor of this place is the atrocious parking. Whilst secure, it is cramped and there is no space. You are called at 8am on every morning to move your car for another person -not pleasant!Lastly, living in SA, backup power of any kind is a MUST! They have absolutely no backup power option, not even candles in the room or an emergency light. Again, small details matter!

The apartment is great and cute. Bathrooms are clean and rooms spacious. Quite limited parking space though hence the 3 star rating

Surprisingly quiet. I had noisy neighbours once. Extremely friendly staff. Tidy rooms, some massive, some smaller, and I arranged my table to stand where it is multifunctional. Oven, microwave, fridge etc excellent. From shampoo to sanitiser. Shops and restaurants to suit all shapes.

Amazing Service with modern and clean rooms. Greenside is a great area to be based in as all amenities are within 1km of the Apartments.

Great space, well maintained, great service even during load shedding.Only thing that needs attention is the parking entrance door, monitoring to avoid long waits to have it opened.

The Location was excellent,The rooms , we had problems with the mattresses for 2 months. Told for 2 months every Monday they would attend to the cleaning of the curtains and replacement of mattresses.Instead a video of a cleaning in a separate unit was Sent to me. I actually left the premises for this activity promised by facilities manager. Then I get back and I must take that mattress down . Me and help from security.There are NO prices pasted or on display in reception area. The other Mints Sandton View and Melrose display it. This caused a huge problem and the realization that nobody is aware of prices 3 managers. 2 Hosts later nobody could quite the Same price. This is unacceptable. How can your staff in this industry display arrogance , display non accountability and don't provide a guest with peace of mind in this industry at that price.You own the building , you have 2 generator running or 3 that is for the businesses that also pay rent to you. There is no business man that is going to invest in generator whilst renting that is the Landlord job. Then at your price you look at profitability instead of providing peace of mind as per Tourism Guests are to have constant supply of electricity.The issues of power lights I had to wait for and beg. Because due to Eskom there was no electricity most of the time everyone knows how bad schedule was. Still expected to pay full price.Then constantly having to do your property manager job. I went to Kathrine and nobody is prepared for meeting.I was contacted by SAPS instead. That was very disrespectful.Connect your generators to power the guests as well . The payments or price charged is paid take Diesel money from there. Poor service will result in no guests and no guests is bad business. So Bee and guys thanks for the stay. But i had to point these things out.But a good vibe and still recomend you guys if above is sorted out

Good friendly staff. Clean modern self-catering rooms. I stayed for 10 days and the shower had two issues a leak and a blocked drain. The leak was fixed in two days but the blockage wasn't fixed in the time that I was there. The restaurants closeby were fine and paricularly the Indian one around the corner and Woolies is in walking distance. The kitchen was fine.

Not bad , decent sized room , the loadshedding was an issue ! But good parking nice room and nice shower

It's near restaurants the rooms are neat and clean. We only book there with my boyfriend.

Perfect!!!Affordable.Clean.Excellent service.Good location.I could go on and on and on.We absolutely loved our stay here. We will definitely be coming back soon!
