As a young adult, buying property is meant to be a scary process, especially when it comes to investment properties. I was asked to inspect my unit at OFFORD MANOR Ottery, Cape Town on 22 November 2022, the condition was appauling. I was told it would be fixed and I would could then inspect again. I did not sign the happy letter, because these were not common snags but generally poor workmanship. I was told by Gerhad Nel on 13 December 2022 in an email the unit was ready to inspect again. He refered me to some site manager to arrange time/date. The site manager, when I contacted him, said that he wasn't happy with a wall in the bathroom and repairs would be done to it and he would let me know when to inspect. I contacted him thereafter and he said, come Wednesday 25 Jan 2023. I did. These are images from the inspection on 25 Jan 2023. The ESI attorneys together with Gerhard are saying these are snags and there is no reason for the registration not to go ahead. Was the snags not suppose to be fixed between Nov 2022 - 24 Jan 2023? The condition of the development is appauling. the condition of the unit I was to purchase is appauling. Unlivable. Right now they are bullying me into accepting this deal. I refuse. Be careful of the misleading markeing of Propinvest of superior finishes" its very very far from that. If you experienced something similar them please contact me. I am persuing legal process."

They also have a social responsibility portion for lower income families which reflects they under the need for improving the housing opportunities for many more South African citizens
