Place is amazing from their friendly staff to their great services.Location is also very convenient.I loved almost everything there.

Clean and tidy rooms.More especially liked the fact that during loadshedding we still had electricity in our rooms which kept us warm during those very cold winter nights.And excellent service from Phil and staff. I really enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed our time here. The staff were so helpful and friendly. There are braai facilities onsite so we enjoyed a nice family braai over the weekend. We weren't affected by loadshedding because they have a generator. For the self-catering option the kitchen is well stocked.

Excellent service, we regularly use the Guest house for our drivers for work. staff very friendly.we had a mishap with a payment and mistakenly paid Resthaven instead of another supplier, when this was brought up to the mangers knowledge they refunded us the same day.10/10

Philip and family are outstanding hosts and go to great lengths to make your stay at Resthaven Guesthouse a memorable one.Dinner time is always a treat with the best home cooked meals. The fillet on Monday's are just simply out of this world!Will definately be back with the family to experience one of Philip's guided tours.

This establishment in Matatiele provides 5 star service, accommodation, food and security. They took us in when we broke down, made us food, allowed us to stay until the car was repaired and couldn't do enough to help. They are friendly, helpful, courteous and efficient. The staff is friendly and the management is top drawer.The room is spacious, spotless and well equipped, there is nothing you could want that wasn't provided, down to the little touchesI can't recommend this Bed and Breakfast highly enough.Importantly for caravaners, their parking area is huge and the area is secure.This is a family run establishment and it shows. The food is delicious.Thank you so mich for truly top class accommodation.

I have nothing but praise for this venue. From the moment I drove in the gate and beheld the well manicured lawns and tastefully decorated buildings, to my early morning departure a few days later with a packed breakfast (since I would leave before the dining room opened), I had a memorable stay in what is a hidden gem in the hinterlands of the Eastern Cape. I had a spacious self-catering room which was well equipped with a comfortable bed, electric blanket, ample desk space and a kitchenette. The service was also top notch from all the staff I encountered, and the sumptuous meals made this a visit I will remember for a long time. The only downside I could point out is a weak Wi-Fi signal (freely provided) in the room I occupied. Well done to the owners and all involved with the establishment for a place well worth visiting.
