Durban City Hall remains a tourist attraction. Well looked after and a prestigious space for mass gatherings both formalor informal at the foyer. Well positioned in the Durban city centre with ease of access to public transport and a walking distance to popular Durban beach front beaches.

Well maintained place. Well lit. Currently installing a huge Christmas tree which will by lit tomorrow. Beautiful park and lots of seating area. Lots of people pass by the whole day

Brilliant and beautiful venue at the heart of Durbans CBD. I once lost my car keys at an event there, but otherwise only fond memories of fighting for justice and listening to leaders.

I'm looking for information on exactly WHEN construction began on the Durban City Hall but I cannot find anything. I cannot find any construction pictures. I'm doing research on these so called Victorian buildings" and I want to get to the bottom of who exactly built them and when."

Durban City Hall
One of the last surviving heritage buildings in Durban.. The sculpture is world class.... Its a very interesting location.... Alot of history is embedded in this building. There's also a library within it.
