Lovely Family getaway experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the great amount of recreational activities available. Complete with beautiful hikes all along the water makes for a relaxing trip all together. The rooms are neat and the staff friendly. Would recommend especially for families.

My Partner and I have been coming to Aquanzi lodge since 2020. There used to be a German Woman running the venue and everything was maintained. We've probably stayed at the venue around 20 odd days over the past few years if not more. One of the issues is that there are no generators. As we all know in South Africa it's now a necessity. We pay R1850 a day. Management seems to have changed. We've just been to Aquanzi again this Saturday and Sunday. We didn't have enough tea candles, it's the only ones that were in our room. The 2 bigger hand not been replaced. There us a large Daiken Aircon unit in the bedroom area. As it was cold we tried to use it. Only to fund that as per usual the Aircons are switched off outside by the electrical box. My Partner went outside and switched it back on. We put on the air conditioning and it wasn't working on heat. There is to the best of our knowledge only whatsapp communication. I'll attach screenshots of the conversation for ease of reference. We had to ask for more blankets. We were given electricity blanket. When we walked into the room after coming back from lunch it was dark. This is when we tried to find matches. No matches. And no proper candles. So my Partner had to go back outside in the rain to his vehicle to find a lighter. I'm not sure who is now managing the venue as this isn't what we've experienced. To cause insult to injury we had our own cooler box with various coldrinks. A few were diet cokes and sugar ones. The tiny tins. We removed ALL the items out of the bar fridge as soon as we arrived and put our own beverages inside. Which included few tins of cokes. I'm not sure how 2 from the mini bar apparently went missing. I messaged on the whatsapp line and tried to call. It was rejected. The entire time we were there this happened. This has never happened. We were checking out. No one at reception to hand keys to after 9am on Sunday morning so my Partner gave keys to Gardener. So we proceeded to exit. No one there. So we turned around to ask to let us out. Suddenly the one Lady we are familiar with ran from the bar by the pool and told us we had not paid for 2 small tins of coke. It's the way it was addressed which got my Partner back up. I hopped out the car with 2 tins of cokes handed them to her. We then went to the gate no one there so my Partner got out and opened the gate himself and we drove off. Very sad and disappointed in the Venue. We won't be back again. I left my cell phone charger and I'm sure I probably won't get it back. Let's see if I get a call .....

Utilized the dive facility and as always was very clean. Coffee shop / restaurant was open early enough for that much needed cup of coffee and toasted sarmie.Burgers are great and the staff are very polite and friendly.

A fantastic place to relax and rewind. The chalets and the surrounding garden are beautiful designed. The café menu is simple, staff service is great. Saturday and Sunday breakfast at by the pool terrace is a bit noisy due to the diver curse.Use of the pool is also troublesome when the divers are there.

We’ve frequented the pool and cafe when doing our dive training. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Limited veg/vegan options at the cafe.

The place is absolutely beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful. The chalet was well kept and clean. Customer satisfaction is top priority and it shows. However, it would be helpful if the lodge had generators during loadshedding. Its very difficult to appreciate the lodge entirely when there is no power, would 100% recommend visiting
