Native Animal Rescue
My husband and I have rescued two different native birds now and we will continue to send them to Native Animal Rescue if they are able to take them!They thank us for bringing the animals in. Such a wonderful organisation run by volunteers. They are experts in looking after native animals of all kinds.If you are able to, please consider providing a donation when you drop off an animal to help cover their costs.

The sick magpie I brought in was treated quickly and with care (and on a public holiday). I'm so glad this place exists to give our native animals a better chance at being rescued and rehabilitated.

Found a Maggie chick on the ground looking worst for wear. Took it here, had to fill in some paperwork ( probably for funding) but they were very good and actually thanked me for bringing it in. Awesome people.

Just spoken with Jackie at the rescue centre and what a lovely lady!! We had two baby willy Wagtails in our underground carpark at work on the floor so called for some advice. She was very knowledgeable and gave clear instructions in what to do. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you.

I have found many a bird in distress and not known what to do with it. Everytime I call Native Animal Rescue they always give me great advice and if possible will organise to come and pick up the bird. They really love what they do.

Amazing work the volunteer staff do - so dedicated looking after the wildlife. George the wonderful dog looks after everyone who visits. Great place run by great people.
