This is a regular stop for me. The coffee is good - I have not eaten here. The service is friendly, but there always seems to be a wait - even when it is not particularly busy. A very pleasant place to sit and enjoy a cup, or to meet a friend for a catch up.

The outside seating faces a CBD street corner behind the main street, so not to busy but a really nice view of distant places and people coming and going in the foreground, with wide open spaces out front, on a wooden deck with trees and umbrellas for shade. Bootleggers is well known for a great breakfast's and coffee's to match. Their red cappuccino is amazing, served with honey if you so please. The service was great and not over or under served as could sometimes happen from place to place.Inside and on the front porch, the decor is welcoming and homely with enough natural lighting passing through from the windows to create an ideal spot for a breakfast meeting or lunch break with a friend.

Great place to work during the week. Free wifi. It's nice to sit outside on a sunny day. It gets very crowded on weekends. But the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are fire heaters but seem more for ambience than for warmth. Not many vegan options for food.

Excellent coffee, of course. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of seating. A venue, menu worth returning to again and again. Perfect for a coffee date or lunch with a friend. Accommodating and friendly, professional staff. A feel good restaurant, with a feel good experience.

Ate here multiple times during our trip. Great coffee and nice selection of breakfast foods! Even bought some Cortardo glasses and coffee pods to take home.

What a lovely addition to the Somerset West restaurant scene!Cozy inside seating, friendly staff, lots of yummy treats to pick from and incredible coffee. A very nice vibe!I had the frech toast banana bread. It was divine!

While the coffee may not be to my personal taste, it has been well received by others. The early opening time at 6:30 is a convenient option for those looking to start their day and the friendly staff makes the experience all the more pleasant.

Breakfast cold, eggs rubbery and coffee cold. The slip of bill was in a very dirty copper container. It shows what they think of their customers. The morning manager really needs more training especially customer care. I'm really enjoying bootleggers signature breakfast at the strand branch, but Somerset West was not pleasant.
