Boschrivier Wines
Located close to Raka Winery on the R326 between Bredarsdorp and Stanford, this lesser known winery is worth a visit. They have a big outside covered area where you can do a relaxing wine tasting. There is also a nice kids play area within clear view from the seating area, where the kids can keep themselves busy. When we visited they had 4 wines that we could taste (Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon) and I can honestly say I enjoyed all of them and even bought some to take home. The lady that helped us was very friendly and for those that didn't want to taste the wine she quickly arrange for some coffee and tea.

We wondered off the road in search for a new adventure and a pitstop. We were treated to both and much more. Walking n one expects very little as the humble and unassuming facade gives away very little. However, we were met by pleasantness and warmth from the moment we stepped in. After a rather gloomy day on wet roads with very little to see, the covered terrace had a warm glowing fire in the hearth which gave us a sense of belonging. We had our wine tasting and cheese platter in front of the fire, an experience we can record as the first.

We actually didn't come here for wine tasting, but we came for their breakfast (offered alongside their accommodation just down the road). Excellent full English breakfast (no beans though), including hot drinks and eggs to order. The wait wasn't very long and the service was attentive and responsive. Looks like an excellent place for events as well!

Absolutely LOVED this wine farm. The wines are incredibly tasteful, and the staff are just soo friendly and knowledgeable. The views are just as stunning and would actually be an ideal wedding venue too. There as guest houses on the farm, allowing guests to stay over too. 10/10 would recommend, and would definitely visit again and again
