This is by far the worst solar company we have dealt with. Job not completed. Ecosmart Sold a solar system that could not work off grid. Ecosmart takes deposits then does not purchase the goods. Wolfgang the owner has shown to be dishonest. We called two other of their clients before us who had similar experience. Avoid at all costs.

EcoSmart does not have the knowledge, nor the ability or will to provide any support for their installed systems should it fail. It will not be smart to install any of EcoSmart's systems, it is just a big waste of money!!!

Ecosmart supplied, designed and installed an integrated water heating system in our home in 2013/2014. This included a water underfloor heating system, a Palazetti wood pellet burner, solar panels, a Samsung heat pump and numerous controls to manage the entire system. It was an expensive integrated system. Until 2020 EcoSmart provided maintenance support from their Gauteng office. However, in June 2021 after numerous attempts to get hold of EcoSmart to service the wood pellet burner and support the system, Wolfgang Stohr made it clear that they are no longer able or willing to support the system they sold and installed. we currently do not have the time or resources to attend to any of the issues below. I am only aware of one other person that may be able to assist."Potential clients need to be aware that EcoSmart does not have the ability to support that which they've sold and installed. This fairly complex and integrated system requires specialised support and their failure to provide such is putting the investment in their products at risk."
