Sound Works Hermanus

Thanks to John and his team, Soundworks Hermanus provided very professional sound and lighting for the Hermanus Rotary Club’s Hermanus Carols on the 17th and 18th December. This was despite the challenges of load shedding and having to balance the power from two generators. John’s appreciation of the sound and lighting needs of such an event went a long way towards the success of the event.

John Mitchell set up the YouTube live stream for my father's memorial service. The quality of the recording was excellent. People around the world tuned in and were able to hear and see everything clearly. We are so grateful to John and his team for this special memory. In addition to providing a quality service, John is also a phenomenal musician. My late father, Brian W. Croucher, spoke very highly of John and thoroughly enjoyed playing music with him. Thank you, John, from all of us Crouchers.

For a while now i have been to functions and events where Sound Works were doing sound,maybe i took it for granted until i had to organize my own event.Sound Works built a very nice stage ,and their lighting complimented the view.Everything was neat and pleasant to look at,eyes were already impressed.It felt like a dream playing the team is so professional and the sound is amazing,they listen to your own desires.I sounded better than i have ever been.I loved the switch ups of everything and cables,like it was automated..Make these guys busy,they don't deserve any day of doing nothing hahahaha ,they are that good.Thank you Sound works HermanusYour soul rockerTakura Terry

John and his team were fantastic. We used them for a two day conference and gala dinner. They made sure the setup and everything ran smoothly with no hiccups at all. Great equipment and service.

We had a difficult event to mike with choir, brass, strings, marimbas, keyboards and soloists - outdoors and with the audience spread out in picnic fashion over a large semicircle. The sound crew were punctual, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Afterwards we received compliments from several sources commenting on how good the sound had been! And we knew that it was all at a very reasonable price. Thank you!
