Hillcrest Estate

Hillcrest Estate is a upmarket place. Beautiful place, beautiful view greenery. Great food, excellent waiter services. This place has inside seating and big outside seating as well. Comes with live band music. Outside seating has water spy on top to keep you cool. I will go here again. I'm telling you now your wife or girlfriend will enjoy this place.

….What brought us here was the sign we saw on the road which displayed “Olive Tasting” and being a wine estate we were sure there is also wine tasting. Its a nice drive in to get to the Hill-Crest restaurant which also has a Beer-garden. The restaurant is much bigger in the outside seating area but inside is not to bad. The wine tasting area is niff-tii and only seats about 10 patrons at five tables while the centre of the room is filled with barrels stacked with the “Saartjie” brand wines which is a product of Hill-Crest wines. We ordered an Olive Platter with the Red-Tasting at R 100.00 for 6 tastings. It was an enjoyable experience to visit here. All the staff were friend-lii and very respectful. If you were sitting down for a meal outside you also enjoy the incredible picturesque view of the surrounding vineyard and the Atlantic Ocean in the distance to the west….NB! Covid-19 Safety Policy in place as at the entrance all passengers in the vehicle must have their temperatures checked and No Mask No entree. Hand Sanitiser Spray bottles are all around the restaurant….

Good food, great views but a little light on bathrooms. Not really wheel chair friendly, but a good spot for a midweek lunch.

Food was decent. They use a lot of oil and fatty ingredients which overpowers any taste that is present in the food, you’ll definitely leave feeling sickly full. Otherwise would recommend to grab some drinks here because the view is beautiful and the atmosphere is great.

Very quaint little gem of a resturant. The food was sublime. The lady waitress who was assisting us was so friendly, well spoken and such a pleasure to deal with. We settled for 2 starters, the chicken livers and the Springbok shaved salad.Both were absolutely divine

Excellent food, beautiful views, chilled vibe, great atmosphere, fantastic decor, comfortable seating. Definitely try the salmon salad.

Hillcrest Estate for Sunday lunch . Very good food. Magnificent starter of Springbok slivers served with rocket . Followed by a rump steak , medium rare, cooked to perfection . Monica had chicken pie . Cynthia had pork slithers . Very generous portions . Service was immaculate.

Nice area, landscapes to walk around.We just had a walk there and went to the shop.The store has the opportunity to taste wine and olives before buying. Olives are fantastic!

Food is amazing. But breakfast is only served until 10 and lunch only starts from 11. Even though they have 4 plant based meals to order from the lunch menu, they don't offer any milk alternatives. Also don't use the bathrooms! The doors don't close and it is not very hygienic.

Beautiful restaurant and the service was quick and friendly.The Havoc burger tasted great
