De-li-cious!! Highly recommend everyone to visit this shop. Everyone here was so friendly and I loved the milk tart they have here. Had been looking for milk tarts around Cape Town and was thrilled when I came by this bakery.

I wish I took more pictures and try a second dessert but we were too full... so we only end up ordering a carrot cake which was nicely tasty. It was not too sweet, the right balance of the cream cheese to the cake part. They also serve drinks and coffees as well. They have their own local merchandises like notebooks, mugs etc.I love going to cafés where their dessert display is full full of items and this one was just short even though they had more items displayed on top like filled doughnuts, cookies and brownies hence why I gave this place a 4-star.

A great little bakery offering sweet as well as savoury deliciousness. Everything is made on site in full view of customers watering mouths. Some daring takes on old favourites as well as new exciting offerings I'd never heard of before. The blonde and the individual chocolate cake were particularly tasty. Keen to go back for the focaccia!

Visited their store in Old Biscuit Mill and was blown away by the delicious and affordable range of vegan cakes. The staff was extremely friendly, and even took the time to come and chat with us. The coffee was lovely, with the options to substitute oat or almond milk at an affordable price. The store had a warm and cosy vibe, inviting anyone in with a sweet tooth!

I cannot recommend them highly enough! I ordered the Ferrero Rocher cake with pink roses and candles for my mother in law’s birthday, and the cake we received was just exquisite. It looked SO beautiful, and the actual cake was absolutely delicious. All my guests had seconds and asked where I got it from. A very big thank you to them for such a special cake and excellent service. I will definitely order from them again!

Buns Bakery always leaves me in awe with how perfectly neat each sweet treat is! I’ve never been disappointed and would recommend everything! Love that their new space at the old biscuit mill has seating and is such a quirky space. Some of our favorites are the chocolate cake with whipped ganache, tiramisu layered cake, apple pie, tomato focaccia and strawberry cream cake slice.
