Whether you are a customer or panelbeater, avoid business with them. They disappear when they have to settle payment. Us as a small business (panelbeater) did repairs for their client. They authorized her quote but when we sent them costings and invoices they disappeared. No response. No communication. Downright fraudulent.Part of the reason why small businesses close down and fail is because of bullies like Renasa who have no shame to sniff out the little life of a livelihood you try to create under already harsh African conditions. Now the poor customer who we repaired their vehicle has to pay not just a premium to them but also us for the work done on her car which is unfair.

This is an awful insurance company. They do not keep to their signed agreements & policies. Please keep away from this company, they cost you money & makes damages worse than they already are.

I needed roadside assistance 2 weeks ago, I called the helpline, they said the breakdown service truck would be by me within 45min, guys I honestly waited 2 hours and the guy they sent out to pick up my motorcycle was probably 60 years old with a back problem. The helpline kept calling me to say the guy will be there in 10min (1 hour later) then I got another phone call to say, the driver will be there in 5min (this is now 1h45min later).. I begged my broker to look for another insurance company to go with.

Renasa does not sell products direct to clients, but they offer products to brokers/underwriters. Some brokers have their OWN product, so the Renasa product for a broker might be different from the standard policy wording. Make sure you know your product.

I supplied both photographic & video evidence.Reading the other reviews the common thread is that they appear to use delay tactics to avoid any liability on 3rd party claims. This appears to be common practice as well as their modus operandi when dealing with client claims. Renasa Vehicle Insurance Assesor huge disappointment, name supplies inbox.... just a runaround with this guy no straight answer jusy intentionally wasting my time. Santam is more expensive but worth it.

This insurance company does not look after their clients. They are a joke.We have video footage of a car driving into OUR car but we only got partial claim paid back to us. they are arguing that it is our fault for a car driving into us!!!! Shockingly very disappointed in them and will move away from them. I can just imagine what trouble one would have if it were a bigger claim!!! Stay away from them!!!

Worst insurance ever waiting 5 weeks for a claim to be sorted and still they looking at all avenues NOT to settle claim!!!
