We only had breakfast our waitress was friendly and very helpful. Place was clean and the food was fresh.

It was our 2nd visit and had to share with my son and daughter in law as it was their 1st visit to SpringbokA very interesting restaurant and place to visit when in Springbok. As you enter you walk into a normal shop that sells cool drinks, chocolates etc , then into the other part which I guess it's like a curio shop. Interesting books, and an amazing collection of gemstones.The menu is quite limited but some typical South African dishes and normally a special of the day. They also known for their big milkshakes. A few of us had bobotie and it was greatReally worth a visit when in Springbok

I ordered quiche. It was okay. No presentation. The slice was just cut odd and warmed in the microwave that made the base soft. Vegetables was just cooked in water no flavour. My husband had curry he enjoyed it and my daughter had tomato bredie that she is also enjoyed. I had a milkshake and that was very nice. Someone in our group ordered schnitzel no sauce just served with a slice of lemon and it was very dry. After all the whole point of schnitzel is the sauce. The food took a while to arrive. The book shop and history very interesting.

It's very comfortable and clean lodge, well maintained and with very nice and friendly personel. Reception and restaurant have an atmosphere from old movies, and there's quite an authentic feeling, food was very delicious as well. Owner is a really really nice person, and I have enjoyed chatting to him about many different topics. He's got an impressive art gallery upstairs. Absolutely recommended place.

We only had lunch at the restaurant and wow! The food was delicious. The shop and bar had lots of history.

Good variety of great quality books. We had a meal of delicious fish and chips and onion rings. Tasty milk shakes. Friendly and responsive waitress.

This is not your ordinary restaurant. This is like a living encyclopedia with the most interesting displays of local and other gemstones and rocks. There is a wide selection of books and other memorabilia. The owner/manager is always ready to furnish visitors with information about the area. The restaurant offers a variety of local dishes at affordable prices. An experience not to miss.
