University of Zululand - Richards bay campus

Safe and working ATM's inside campus. Very convenient since there nearby mall was raised to the ground in flames

I would advise people outside the province not to attend this University as it is not a well maintained University like other Universities. You are just asking for depression if you attend here from outside of the province and main campus is not nice as it appears in pictures dont be fooled

Well firstly I've been a student here for seven full months but I'm pretty much sure I've heard enough of this place. The is a lack of diversity and the conditions students live under are not good. The students residents are all falling apart by the east and I've often thought to my self that one day we will wake up to a tragic accident that they have collapsed because of being old. The lecture halls need a lot of attention too when you are inside them you can barely even see at the front because the white board/projector boards are broken and they look like the last time they worked was back in the 2000's. Also the security the really poor, the are no cameras the only thing we have are securities which don't even carry guns. Also the sport grounds are littered with waste and popular restaurants are about 40 minutes away which is very far away from the University. Overall I think this place is not worth the standards of people who are looking for having lot of fun and who wantto explore themselves after school.

Heard about crime because of a gang called 'amadabuka' and I'm not impressed, totally not registering for my first year next year

I wish 0 stars was an option.Not well maintained, terribly managed and these issues have been going on for years and nothing has changed.A gap year is better than coming here but if you really need to study here are some tipsFor registration get there early, on the opening day, if you are a first year you'll be treated with 2 star level and if you're not a first year we'll 0 stars is the best they can provide

I have been trying to contact the University on numerous occasions for help on how to Deregister from the University but there has been any response .

Its in a calm location situated in a place of dense flora (vegetation). Its rural setting is favourable for a person who hates noisy places in urban settlements. Despite other injustices it faces I would recommend it to a lot of people. Especially if they seek to study Law.

Coming back for my 4th year and I've had a beautiful experience. My schooling has been amazing

Good morning, I’m first year yet I’ve been waking up for class since yesterday but surprisingly lectures have not been showing and this has been happening for the 8th time in a row.It’s very very sad that there’s no communication, emails or some sort of idea to students who came to campus to study. Please don’t ignore this issue because it is so inconveniencing.

I've been a student here for 4 beautiful years it was like home away from home. Everyone is welcoming and friendly there's no discrimination it a great institution I personally do encourage students to go and obtain their degrees here.❤
