Jules of the Karoo
A true jewel in the Karoo, about one hours drive on dirt road north of Richmond. Hosts, Julian and Marisan, their two sons (Isak and Joshua) and daughter went out of their way to accommodate us. Besides wildlife, the railway, the farm is part of South African history (Yeomen of the Karoo).

Great place and wonderful people. Enjoyed our week there while hunting Springbok and other animals. The number one place in the Karoo for Springboks. They will do anything to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay. Highly recommended

I went from my home in Washington State, USA. Great people, none better. Great hunting, they fulfilled all of my dreams. PH's, Professional Hunter (Armand) was amazing. I learned so much. Went in April/May of 2008. Our Spring weather is S.A's, South Africa's Fall weather at 50°-55°. Perfect weather. Julian & Marisan Theron were gracious, accommodating, sincere, fun. I went with my dad, who was 84 yrs at the time. It was the best hunting trip of our lives. I encourage everyone to go. You won't be disappointed. We had our taxidermy mounts done at Karoo Taxidermy. Excellent work was done there.

Stayed and hunted with the Theron family August 2018. Wonderful lodge, friendly people, great food and fantastic hunting. Top notch operation in every regard. Highly recommended for an enjoyable, memorable experience. DON'T MISS!
