I recently came across this cute French bistro whilst looking for parking in Hazelwood on Friday afternoon and it has to be one of my favourite restaurants in Pretoria. I went again on Monday.The service is excellent.The food is delicious.Lovely ambiance.The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had especially on these cold winter days.Salad has great flavours.The burnt cheese cake melts in your mouth.I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

This is a atypical South African French restaurant.The meals are delicious and the services is friendly.On numerous occasions including today the drinks are very disappointing. What you are served does not match the menu description.For example. Today I ordered a Segafreddo iced coffee & ice cream.When served there is no ice cream at all. Just crushed iced and this is how it is served accordingly to the waiter.

The setting is lovely, if you use a little imagination you might think you are sitting in a bistro in France. The food is excellent, the kind that makes you say an involuntary mmmh yum" when you take the first bite. I can highly recommend the "oufs benedict" and a silky cappuccino while you sit outside listening to the sound of running water and French music playing in the background."

Delighted with this gem. Food us excellent and the atmosphere very special. Very good service and excellent quality. Highly recommend is the soft open omelettes with pork belly or chicken livers. Lip smacking!

This is a real little gem! Love the atmosphere, and the decor is beautifully done. The food was good but it has been better in the past. Service was good but could be better. Would recommend you pop in for a croissant and cappuccino.

Absolutely delightful. Located along one of th side streets of the Old East Precinct, in a converted house, this restaurant is a must see. Parking is on the street, but overseen by a multitude of car guards.If not European, the ambiance is certainly cosmopolitan. Seating is available both indoor and alfresco. Small groups and couples are easily accommodated. The menu is extensive and breakfast well appointed. A variety of eggs Benedict style options are available and definitely worth trying.This is a great place for a weekend breakfast, and it can get quite busy.And, of course, the waiters speak French :)

Beautiful restuarant with fantastic service and amazing food. The setting is clean, contemporary and well arranged. The food is absolutely incredible and can very easily rival a far more expensive restaurant.The beef Wellington is incredible!Will definitely be back again.
