I think most people complain because they can’t speak Joburg vernacular. The prices are super affordable, so expect the quality to be equally diminished. Personally I think the staff are wonderful but you gotta be kind, greet, ask how they are, if they can accommodate you. If you come in being an entitled bunch you’ll be treated as such.

Disappointed, I did my lashes which started to fall out in 4 days, the lady didn't clean the glue from my bottom lashes, very sloppy work will never go back

We phoned in advance to make an appointment to get our nails done but as soon as we arrived they were highly rude. Asked for advice on nails and the staff couldnt answer it, another customer had to give us advice.The staff were highly disrespectful and did not even greet us or inform us about the lack of space.We had been waiting in a line and they took 2 customers that had come after us.The staff were bickering amongst themselves whereas they could not even serve us.Highly disrespectful and unprofessional.Will not go again.

Did not have a great experience, went in for Gelish toes and acrylic hands- the lady who did my toes did it so badly like a 5 year old child painted it. Then I complained and then she scraped and filed the color off. The repaint was even worse!Then she started crying and saying she can’t do this and needs help.I was there 3 and a half hours , it was late and eventually I left with unpainted toes. If I was able to give less than 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs. Rudeness on another level, worst customer service possible, quality/skills are a 0 and the hygiene levels in the store will scare you.

Always a fun time with my therapist Gugu, she is awesome, all the ladies are friendly.

I tried making a booking in advance but after numerous calls went to voicemail I had given up. Eventually someone called me back and assured me that there would be a nail technician available. However, when I arrived the salon was fully booked. From the sound of the call the person who had called me back wasn't even at the store. The staff here are highly unprofessional and unorganised. I should have checked the reviews and saved myself the trouble of coming here.

Worst possible service ever , while doing my nails the nail technicians proceeded to trash talk me in another language not English assuming I would not understand seeing that I am not African , of which I understood what was being said about me ie what a bad customer I am as I had told the nail tech doing my nails that the nails on my right hand were longer than the nails on my left hand. Every time I had asked my nail technician to fix the length of the nails on my right hand she proceeded to file onto my cuticle repeatedly until I screamed and said you are hurting me. I am disgusted at this service.

Whatever you do, stay away from The Treat Rivonia and if you ever find yourself too desperate, don’t allow Kinky to touch your nails.I went there for a soak off at 4:15pm and at 5:15pm, my soak off was still not complete. Kinki kept leaving me unattended and claimed that it’s taking long because it’s an acrylic soak-off but we all know that a soak off doesn’t take over 45 minutes. She then proceeded to take another client, and leave me unattended. She didn’t care to explain that she was expecting another client.I had to leave the salon with an incomplete soak off because I couldn’t stand the blatant disregard and care. The rest of the nail technicians also didn’t care. This was actually funny to them.Stay away from The Treat Rivonia if you want peace of mind and proper service delivery.

The lady in front is so rude & dismissive, she doesn’t even explain properly the services offered. She looks so disinterested & annoyed when you ask her anything. The lash extensions are already falling out 2 days after doing them, & the lady doing my sisters acrylic overlay was sooooo slow & so bad that I finished my pedicure, acrylic nails & lashes before she was done with her set which was absolutely unacceptable. I would recommend this establishment to anyone until it gets competent staff who actually want to work.
