Absolutely beautiful. Lovely for a morning walk or a walk at any time really. Very neat and clean, well maintained. It's a very serene atmosphere. You get glimpses of the beach and can hear the ocean along the way. If I lived in Durban I'd definitely be here every day.

Easy trail and lovely views. The trail couldn’t be completed due to restoration of beach, probably due to recent rains/flooding. Enjoyable and well maintained.

I love running this nature trail, has lots of winds and turns. There really is not much in terms of nature and floral viewing. There is a beautiful lake and many bridges you can cross. Eventually the trail leads to the shore after many steep inclines and declines. I will estimate the trail is 1-2km long.

Awesome place, amazing views! Just I worry about the stability of the walk ways! I'm a big guy and I don't think they can hold to much weight

Was looking forward to a visit as its been closed for some time .Entrance and Coffee Shop looked nice.Followed the route and had to turn back due to monkeys wanting our water bottle and chasing us.Went back for Ice Coffee , worst I ever tasted at R48 a cup.Coffee shop dustbins overflowing with rubbish no wonder so many monkeys. Will try again another day and take a walking stick to prevent monkeys chasing us.

Nice gateway very close to the estates. It's nice and relaxed by the dunes. Usually very quite where you enjoy the nature. On windy days it's hard to use your sun umbrella by the beach side so you need to be careful. The path by the small forest gives you a great option for walk or light run next to the ocean. Main entrance has opening hours so be aware of that additionally with the guards who might walk up and down with the runners.

Although the main entrance to the Nature Reserve is closed, there is an alternate entrance next to a Hawaan building. Parking is on the road side. There is a paved pathway which leads to the beach and a natural pathway to the left of the paved area takes you to the Nature Reserve. No entrance fees and wheelchair friendly Very few picnic spots. A wonderful, cool and shady walk leads you to a beautiful Forest Cafe" coffee shop with a spectacular painting on the wall. Lots of monkeys along the way so be cautious if you're eating as they tend to be naughty. I enjoyed a beautiful walk to the beach which was temporarily closed due to chemical spills. Beautifully designed walk- way by "Ecology Plastics"

The park is beautiful, the birds, the beautiful marshes and river. It sets a very beautiful environment. I got the chance to see some duikers.

Lovely walk amongst the trees along side the beach. At the end is a small coffee shop, perfect for chilling in the mornings

It’s a decent place to hike, and can be done after walking along the promenade. Not a very challenging hike and it doesn’t require any special equipment. The only issue we noticed was that a few areas were closed off to foot traffic, so at one point you have to make a U turn and go back.
