I started my theoretical training at Umbilo Private FET College in the Electrical Engineering discipline, and have completed my N1,N2, and N3 levels on full time as well as part time basis. I found their facility to be extremely well run and organised, and their lecturers very knowledgeable and excellent in guiding students along through the course material. An added benefit is the fact that they are a registered examination center as well, so you are able to write your exams at the same venue as where your lectures take place. Definitely my college of choice in Durban.

Best college for N1 to N3 in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. You won't go wrong and even working from N4 to N6 you will get help from the lecturers there. Reasonable school fees and there's a cafeteria. Available parking too with car guards. You won't regret going there plus they help with applications for apprenticeships. Best college experience I've ever had. Come to this place to have a step ahead in your career
