Europ Assistance - Head Office

We are a service provider for EA. Honestly, the service is not great. Why does no one come back to me regarding claims? I have sent numerous mails. Also when I call ANY Number available, there is absolutely no answer. What is going on???

Terribly disappointed!! Father in law waited 4hours with no response. When I called the service provider who kept on saying they on their way knowing full well that their towtruck had a breakdown and he did not disclose it. He started swearing at me and said we can make our own plan for a towtruck and dropped phone

Useless call centre... they call week us to drive 2000km to look at a small tap leak!? And there pay system is just as bad.. still waiting for payment from jobs 2 years.

What pathetic service. Been waiting 7 hours for a jump start. Now again another 10min for someone to answer the phone that cannot even spel!! How ridiculous!! Now they can't supply a rollback to tow the car today. Only tomorrow. Santam please change your service provider. Because Europ Assist will damage your reputation. May I never need them in a medical emergency. For I will surely die before they will arrive to help me.

I bought travel insurance through these useless fraudsters at a premium, and went on holiday to Europe.Long story short, I was left STRANDED in Europe for almost a month in hospital with a broken leg, and had my travel insurance refuse to pay a cent towards my hospital bills.Imagine being a South African stuck in hospital having to pay in Euro for major surgery.Do not do business with this company, they are going to screw you.

Find a different insurer and find out what their customers have to say about their experiences before taking insurance out with them. As for Europe Assistance... Well... Paying for travel insurance is the only easy part of doing business with these guys. Claiming is unnecessarily complicated. They don't inform you before hand that you'll have to pay for any medical care you might need out of pocket on your travels. You have to call some number that they give you in the contract to find this out (already troublesome as you're overseas). Claiming is annoyingly obscured. I had to write several emails to find out how to claim. Now they're requesting documents that I wasn't informed I would need after my travels are over. It feels like I've been scammed.

We are service providers for EA. After numerous attempts from our side to get paid, all we've got are empty promises. After a lot of emails and phone calls to get the accounts settled we as a small businesses still needs to carry the cost of the services we delivered for EA customers, we are waiting for 2 months now to get paid for some of the jobs. Europ Assistance is killing small businesses! Although the customers gave us excellent ratings, EA is clearly not intersted in fair business practices from their side.

I'm disappointed in the calibre of people that drive your vehicle's. One of your vehicle's has a wreckless driver. He was cutting between cars on the Henrik Portgieter street in Roodepoort on Saturday 06th of May 2023 around 14:40, he nearly caused 3 accidents and nearly bumped our vehicle. He was on his phone too. He was driving the white Polo Vivo license registration KP58VC GP. I don't understand what was the rush for on a Saturday late afternoon.
