After my boyfriend and I read the review, we were a bit hesitant to visit Monkey Town. We decided to pay a visit despite the negative comments and I can confidently say we had a BLAST. The staff were friendly, the exhibits were clean and spacious. You can tell that the animals are well cared for. The reptile garden was also great and the reptile man was very informative and friendly. Bit disappointed as we didn’t get to see the chimps but overall the experience was a lekker one! Highly recommend supporting Monkey Town. Lovely for couples, students (student discount) and families with young kids.

Monkey Town
Absolutely phenomenal experience. The trainers are exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly care deeply for these poor animals who for various reasons would no longer survive in the wild. Most of the monkeys and apes seemed to be in good spirits and it was magical to see them playing with each other. We did the encounter which is reasonably priced at 80R and got to hold and feed about a dozen Bolivian yellow squirrel monkeys. The reptile house is also fairly decent with snake encounters at 50R.Entry to the park itself was only 105R so the whole experience is very affordable and a great way to spend a couple of hours.Thank you Alan for a wonderful afternoon, I could not recommend this place enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day out. The gentleman at the reptile garden was awesome and definitely the highlight. Main pool could've been abit more maintained, but I suppose it is a public pool. Overall a good experience though.

Super awesome informative tour with Alan. Monkey Town is privately owned well maintained by friendly staff. Such a lot to see. My preschool kids simply loved it. Hat off to the staff.

Monkey Town
Lovely place for the kids to swim and explore the world of different monkey types and snakes. Kiddies' activities such as pool slides of 3 different age groups and also taking a memorable picture with a snake around your neck or a family picture by the monkeys. Different a place not only for the kids but also relaxing safe environment for a relaxing time for families. You guys rock.

Great experience and we got to go inside to feed the monkeys. Well looked after, can be very hot, take sunscreen and cap. There is a shop for cold drinks.

Monkey Town
Animals are in huge enclosures lush with plants, with healthy food and lots of fellow creatures. All of the animals look happy and content. This is a lovely place to bring children. Parking is ample and amenities well kept. Pricing very reasonable. Would recommend.
