The owner was very friendly and the staff so helpful that i would give them 4 stars alone. The 2 stars I base on the room and the food. The room we got was not what was advertised (what was advertised was a basic room with a couch and full bathroom), it was way smaller and with a shower only and toilet that was dirty on arrival. Hand towels were used as carpets on each side of the bed and only 1 towel was put in the room whereas this was a couple booking, i had to ask for another towel. The food was bland and the portions small. But my greatest disappointment was the bed itself squeaky and old with a broken base.

Good guesthouse. Very good service as well. The Aircon wasn't working properly so it was extremely cold in the room.

Absolutely terrible service. Owner has so many excuses for his lack of competency in even just confirming a booking. Owner doesn't know how to communicate very efficiently and even gets rude when he is doing something illegal to tell you he is not able to be of assistance. As a customer you must accommodate to his way and not treated as a guest.

Worst place to stay in.. The room was untidy, no truth in the website.. The place is smelly... From reception.. The welcoming was horrible.. Something dodgy is going in this place.. U said u have a black Friday special for R420 per night and you normally charge R800 per night, that's absurd to charge that amount for a place like that.. I was very disappointed and still very disappointed. Booking. Com must stop advertising such lies. #Angrysomebody

Great guesthouse with a good family atmosphere- even enjoyed a braai in the evening! Place is great whether you coming to study, for business or for leisure. The rates are always good. We specially liked the fresh atmosphere with the leafy trees, green lawn and spacious environment.

We were absolutely satisfied with our stay here. The hosts are extremely hospitable and the place, area and rooms are safe, clean and neat. Our every request was seen to and we were helped promptly whenever required. I definitely recommend.

What a lovely time I had. From the warm welcome to the last minute I was treated like family. Lovely clean accommodations, delicious breakfast and excellent dinners. I can highly recommend Fred and his team for a peaceful country stay close to the city. Truly a home away from home.
