They don't answer phones everThey hardly answer emailsGot my licence renewed with them as i had to change registration, was told the plates could be done with them and put on as well. called and emailed a day in advance to let them know i was coming. Get there, they cant put the plates on, send me elsewhere saying it will be free for the change of plates, the people charge me R120. I called 6 times and texted about this they didn't bother to reply, 4 hours later they call my dad to say we can come in and have the number plates changed ... I wouldn't go back

Good day,I am a current employee of the Company Vehicle Licence Assist and would like to set a few things straight, as the negative reviews provided on this site only allow for one side of a situation to be seen.Vehicle Licence Assist has always, in all the years it has been open, been a business run with the intention of helping the public traverse the ever-changing department rules and regulations, to the best of their ability.Like every company, there have been growing pains as they expand and try to assist with more complex requests. To date, we are moving all documentation onto a digital system and putting steps into place that will allow us to best assist and keep customers informed.Marcel is not able to answer his phone while within the departments, as it as seen as a security breach – he does however have a voice message and WhatsApp that requests our clients to call the Office and provides a number, one of the staff would be happy to assist.With respect to those who have left these reviews, if money is a factor, it is a cost on the departments side that we are only made aware of when work is returned. The same goes for files that cannot be completed because the department mandate requires something the client is either unable to provide or needs to provide in order to proceed.To future clients that would like to contact Vehicle Licence Assist, please read reviews, and remember we work with a government department that can cause issues, we will do our best to assist in resolving them as that is ultimately why we are here.To those customers who are understanding of this and have left us some positive feedback, we do appreciate it very much and will continue to strive in the improvement of our services and look forward to doing business with you in the future.Regards,VLA Staff of 2023

Friendly, quick and efficient and knew what they were doing. They told me straight away exactly what I needed and how much it would cost and were able to help me do I what needed with out any fuss or problems. I would definitely recommend them for any car licensing or documentation needs.

Should have read the reviews!!!Been three weeks waiting for license renewal and followed up 4 times by driving to the shop. Each time I am given an excuse and told I would get a call back / feedback.They never do... Asked for a refund and my details returned. They refused to do either. So they now have my details and money!!!Would never recommend their service to anyone. Don't make my mistake read the reviews it speaks to itself on how they treat customers.

Paid upfront and all I have received is lies and excuses that there is a backlog at the Traffic Department. Rather log on and renew your licence through Natis, they sent the discs quicker! Paid over R3500 for nothing. Really unimpressed/ go elsewhere! No feedback & Marcel the owner does nothing to assist. Scammers.

Spoke to Marcel and Cathy more then once.They doesn't give feedback.Payment was made in order for them to do license and registration for one of my customers.No they are not responding to any of my calls or whats app's.Very disappointed.

I can no longer stand in long queues due to neuropathy in my legs. Therefore I have been using Vehicle License Assist for a few years to renew license disks, change of ownership and registration of vehicles etc. They charge a small fee but they take away the stress and queue for you. I can honestly reccomend their services. The staff are friendly and efficient and it's always a pleasure to support their business. Thank you Vehicle License Assist!
