From initial contact to installation of the panels and inverter the process was smooth and very efficient (within 2 weeks).Lisa was a delight to communicate with from the initial quotes to setting up the installation on the day.Chris and his apprentices were very quick and knowledgeable in installing the panels and inverters.I would highly recommend using WestSun Solar for all of your solar needs.I'm a very happy customer ☺️

From when I first contacted Westsun about solar energy, the consultation process was very informative right the way through. They developed a system that my roof space could accommodate which incorporated a battery for storage and off grid backup capability. The installation crew had very good communication skills from when they arrived until they left. All queries between Westsun and myself were fully addressed promptly. The workmanship was excellent and the site was left very clean after the works were complete. I am very pleased with the system installed and look forward to the benefits I will receive from 9kW of panels and 10kW/hour battery.

Highly recommend WestSun! They installed a solar system and heat pump water tank for us earlier this month, and from initial contact to installation they were fantastic to deal with. Our sales person, Elias, was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He answered all the many questions we had in a very timely manner, without being pushy at all, and provided quotes without hesitation. The installation team were also faultless, and also a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend Elias and the team at WestSun! Thank you for a smooth process.

We've had our system installed two months ago and it's working flawlessly so far. The sales and installation teams were professional and very nice to deal with. Sales people were not pushy and did not aggressively follow up as some solar companies do. The only reason for 4 stars is that not all panels quoted for could be fitted on what is a small roof area. We did get a discount, but it was far from what a solar panel should cost. All in all, I would recommend Westsun Energy.

WestSun installed a 15kWh battery for me, as well as upgrading my inverter and installing some new panels as well.I was very happy with the result. Installation is neat and tidy and their staff (Elias for Sales, Jesse for install) were helpful throughout. They even tolerated my various geeky queries about the tech!

I just upgraded our system to 10KW, we haven't had to use any energy from the grid and our batteries have been fully charged. In spite of the best efforts of the weather.Elias Lorite was very helpful with getting it all sorted and providing a number of options for us.

Westsun Solar were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Love my Black Q Cells panels and Huawei inverter. They answered all questions promptly and installation went smoothly. I highly recommend them!

Disappointing experience with Westsun Solar.The initial admin process was delayed due to paperwork sitting on a desk waiting to be processed for 17 days…. only found this out after a follow up call and no contact from Westsun Solar.We accepted the proposed package in October 2022 and installation almost didn’t go ahead until January 2023. After another concerned phone call to the office, miraculously the install date was made for late December, although we weren’t able to turn the system on until Western Power had done their bit (another couple of weeks later) very frustrating as this was peak summer.The installers vacated our premises on day 1 without a heads up, leaving the property opened up/unlocked and insecure.The last day of install there were piles of swarf, nails and screws to clear up - not ideal given our toddler had found them before we did!Still waiting on Elias to send through a revised overview of the solar package, as the initial package wasn’t the one that was installed. Lisa advised us this should have been sent through in January, it’s now May and we are sick of following this up.The only silver lining was our experience with Nick Papa who gave his time and thoroughly answered all our questions.Overall our experience with Westsun Solar was anything but 5 star, we felt we were just a number, then a forgotten customer and their cunning sales pitches are all a ploy to get a sale over the line.

I found Westsun Solar via solarquotes.com.au ... they were the best value for money of the 3 quotes (sensible price for quality panels and inverter). Install day went great. Really professional crew who walked me though the process and it looks great. Started 7am and were done by ~2pm. Would recommend them to anyone. If I had to pick flaws the quoting documentation was a bit slap-dash and the handover after install could have been more informative (partly my fault as I left close to the end). The app on my phone works well and I love seeing the energy being captured. The WiFi connection dips out every now and then, but the machine catches the records up when it reconnects. Westsun quoted and arranged for another great crew to come and install a heat pump up to replace the gas system the same day - that was installed in 2-3 hours.
