Le Quartier Francais
One of the nicest and most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed. Staff makes sure everything is perfect. Great location right in town for convenient access to bars, shops and restaurants. Grounds are incredible with beautiful sculptures around and the rooms are spacious and some with fireplaces. Fantastic experience and worth the indulgence.

Loved every moment of our stay there. Breakfast is included and they whipped up gluten free treats each day for my celiac wife. The real stars are the people. They are still ramping back up and trying to figure out Hoteling during the Covid era and everyone was amazing! Looking forward to our return!

We had the pleasure of dining at The Tasting Room on Saturday. What an amazing experience. The service, the food, the wine and the ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Every dish came as a surprise and we were just in awe of everything. Highly recommendable. Would love to go again.

A beautiful hotel centrally located.Warm welcome but couldn’t shake the feeling that the staff wanted you to act impressed. On the cusp of being boutique but sadly almost conference. Our bedroom had the most unforgiving awfully hard type of bamboo woven carpet that you didn’t want to walk on without slippers (provided). Lovely bathroom with underfloor heating. Turn down service. A medium bottle each of red and white wine complimentary.Lovely pool area, safe parking and all ground level rooms. Breakfast could be in- or outdoors and didn’t disappoint.

Tasteful, quiet and stylish.We came for a three night stay at the Quartier Francaise and enjoyed it thoroughly.Room was great and newly refurbished, as was most of the hotel.We had lunch in the garden at the Indian restaurant and dinner at the beer bar. Both were great. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful as we were travelling with a toddler.Parking was available and the gym is decent although not fully equipped.

We celebrated my 40th birthday perfectly and in true class, elegance and beauty. I felt so valued from the moment of our reception at Le Quartier Français.I felt like royalty, and at the same time so humbled by the warmth and friendliness of the concierge at the beautiful establishment. From Angelo, especially, we felt a genuine sense of care and concern to make our stay with Le Quartier Francais a pleasant and memorable one.From fine dining, to pristine landscapes as well as rich in culture and heritage, Le Quartier Francais in Franschhoek has it all.#highly recommended
