I have met with Samara and Jenny (in Perth) and Ronald (when he was in SG Regent Hotel). They will always their best to address my concerns. Want a piece of mind ? Not a good developer, avoid purchasing apartments from Finbar. Lots of shortcuts are made. Products are just made to be sold with no regards to sustainability. Looks flashy, but often an inefficient structural foundation and rubbish content inside. Everything was catered for a 7-10 years old caveat. Once passed that time, problems starts to arise and clearly you can see the corners they are cutting.you know what? by that time, your warranties are pass by their due dates, and you cannot claim those misfits and defects. too late. you cannot recoup your lost investment and the high cost strata they installed in each buildings would add up the ever-presence expensive maintenance bills that are always recurring.

This is a review for Finbar's Code apartments on Milligan St, Perth. This was completed around 2009/2010, so this a review of the development 7 years on.The property was bought off the plan and Finbar's design style back then was a cookie cutter approach, to design as much apartments with similar styling and cram as much as possible onto each floor. The problem with this approach is the long corridors to serve apartments left and right of the corridor, together with cheap insulation of the main walls, you get a lot of noise. Time for a refresh as their is a lot of scuff marks on the walls, as you would expect.Cabinetry in the bedrooms is standard melamine MDF, some awkward shelving as they squeeze as much as possible into the wardrobe space, bathroom cabinetry is showing signs of water ingress but that is to be expected for it's age.Bulkheads around the bedrooms are odd and irregular, so hard to paint around them.The worst thing about this apartment is the electrical problem, expect a log of blown light bulbs, the downlights were from the era of halogen bulbs and I have found several burnt out connector and I suggest all owners to change the transformers and bulbs to LEDs.Overall build quality is towards the low and medium end, Do visit some of the Finbar older developments before buying anything off the plan.

I purchased a Finbar apartment at Rivervale- Riverina, which was constructed in late 2021, and I moved in immediately after.There have been continuous problems with the building. The basement roller door has failed over and over again, with the last time taking almost three months for repair.There have been numerous thefts owing to the broken roller door and cheap locks on outside doors, allowing crooks to break in easily. With the quality of CCTV being very grainy and poor, the police are unable to get any leads on them. Store room doors and locks were also damaged, resulting in owners having to pay for repairs.We have had to pay additional strata fees to get more secure locks on the doors.The double glazing doors do hardly anything to keep the sound out. My towel rack kept making a hole in the wall every time I opened it. I had to get my air conditioning repaired several times.The strata company and Council of Owners have a very complex system of getting repairs done, with much more time required for getting crucial repairs done. Strata fees are already very high.I will not buy a Finbar apartment when I upgrade in a few years.

We bought with Finbar this year, they advertised their next development was not going to block the view from the apartment we bought. After the apartments sold, their next development was changed to block the view from the apartments (within weeks of the last apartments to sell). Build quality of apartments is average with unfinished shower sealing, broken dryer, we had to get fixed. Car bays are narrow. Disappointed with FInbar, generally happy with where I live. I would recommend finding an apartment from a better developer, so you don't have to be disappointed with Finbar.

Very unprofessional PM, Christopher Zhao, when it comes to rental market. I applied two of their listed properties and I had the confidence to afford the rent. However the PM just told me that my job is not stable enough and I was quite shocked how rude They are. Is that because I am a contractor instead of a staff that are sitting in golden towers? That does not make any sense. The PM like this are no more than just a money-chaser rather than a service provider, bloody truth. Also They did not give me any feedback or reply to inform me of the unsuccess of application. You do not provide service to people in diverse at all. What PM should do is to get off from your position and learn how to do business in different culture background. He is just far from capable to be in this role, that is a shame. Definitely one star.
