Ansteys Beach Self Catering & Backpackers

The receptionist was rude to us the minute we got there, he didn't even great us and we had to remind him to greet. The ceiling fan was not working in my room and the 2 wall fans that were mounted also did not work. Our food got rotten coz our fridge was not working. One of the bedrooms had no windows but we weren't told about that before we came. Now that I look at it we were not safe coz one of the house we were given was right next to the road and we were given a padlock as small as my 2 fingers to lock the main gate from the road. We were not happy at all with what we got for the money we paid

Cabin is very basic, smells a bit.Maybe got there on a bad day, over whole vibe was kind of unpleasent.

The staff are extremely sufficient and well organized. The facilities are in an excellent condition. The only thing that was bothering me is the amount of steps, but that an personal thing.

We absolutely loved this place. It is opposite the beach which was great. The bathrooms were very clean, which I appreciated. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and or even visit again.

This place really blew my mind! It was so much more than I expected. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Driftwood cottage. I could not find fault anywhere. It was clean and well maintained. We even had a view of the beach on our doorstep. I will definitely be back for another stay soon!

Hi there booked an accommodation on the 24th of December paid deposit and the guy at the reception told me that they'd be closed on the 25th so I can only get my deposit through eft on the 26th when they open since then I've been waiting....

When it says 1 min to the beach, that is exactly what it means! i loved that part about it.It is quite an old place but I get the rustic" description. The cottage we stayed at had a private braai area where we could braai anytime we wanted.I have to mention how comfortable the bed was

Our stay was great. The front desk co-ordinator Brent was always helpful, very polite and welcoming. Our rooms were a great value for money and the bathrooms were really clean. I would definitely go back again.
