Breakfast, brunch, lunch, high tea, picnics Leisurely walks, scenic jogs. The place that has it all. Beautifully decked out, great food great views, great service. Add wine tasting experience. Life needs very little more.

Loved it! Stopped by for a drink and cake while the rest of our group went on a wine tour. Loved the decor, the food and drinks. It is such a chilled atmosphere.

Going to Simon's Restaurant in Groot Constantia is a fantastic way to spend a sunny weekend afternoon. The atmosphere and views are amazing, and so is the food. The service we received was good, even though it was incredibly busy. The only downside of this restaurant is the prices, which are on the steep side. Considering the location, ambiance and quality of the food though, it's definitely worth a visit.

We had our staff party here. Awesome place. The staff is friendly and had us in stitches with her beautiful attitude. I wish I could remember her name.I'm taking my family there for a meal. Beautiful surroundings. It was memorable.Thank you to all at Simons.

Lovely place. Gorgeously situated. Summer afternoon favourite venue. Serves excellent sweet potato chips and huge cheesecake slices which makes me very happy. Server could have been a bit more upbeat.

Simons Restaurant at Groot Constantia is always a great choice when visiting the estate.I hadn't been to the restaurant for many years and was a little disappointed by the general lack of care and enthusiasm on the part of the manager.The starter I had was a touch bland. I asked our waitress if I could speak to the manager. It wasn't to complain, it was to highlight the bland starter and bring it to his attention. He seemed impatient, unimpressed and slightly aggressive. This response was a unexpected and less proactive than I would expect from Simons. He offered to take the item off the bill, which I thanked for but said was unnecessary as I was only attempting to bring the bland starter to his attention so that perhaps it could be improved for guests in the future.Our waitress was delightful and kept a watchful eye on us, topping up drinks and treating us with care and consideration.The starter (duck and chicken liver parfait) as previously mentioned, was a little disappointing, however, the main course (seafood platter) was lovely.Aside from the interaction with the manager, which put a slight dent in overall experience, I would still recommend Simons. The surroundings are amazing and the wine superb!A special word of thanks to Privilege and Shelter for their lovely service.

Always a wonderful visit to Simon's. Ample parking, attentive and friendly staff. The venue is warm, welcoming and spacious between tables. Ideal for private events. The meals and drinks are expensive so be prepared to spend a little extra but one would expect nothing less from Constantia and its immediate surrounds. Elegant and dreamy.
